                                                   Chartered in 1925
 
The Rotary Club of St. Marys has either initiated and/or completed
the following projects over the last 90 years:
  • Parkview East and West including Rotary Hall
  • Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum and Rotary Field
  • Rotary Reading Garden at the St. Marys Library
  • Cadzow Park including the St. Marys Museum and 2014 Crocus Garden
  • “Leave a Legacy” community fund
  • Sparling Bush
  • Annual Rotary Heritage Days Fireworks
  • 90 years of Rural Urban Nights
     
    We have also partnered with others in the following major community service projects:
  • 2013 Rotary Park on Trout Creek
  • Development of the Quarry Swimming Pool
  • Grand Trunk Trail
  • Rotary Respite House in Stratford
  • St. Marys Memorial Hospital
  • Renovations at the St. Marys Public Library
  • Expansion at the St. Marys Museum
     
    In the past, we have been very active with the following:
  • Easter Seals
  • Woodeden Camp in Komoka
  • Thames Valley Children’s Treatment Centre in London
  • Furnishing the Friendship Centre
  • Hope for Haiti – building schools and sponsoring teachers
     
    The Rotary Club provides ongoing financial support for the following projects and activities;
  • The Pyramid Recreation Centre
  • Worldwide Polio Eradication
  • International Youth Exchange - we have sponsored 114 Inbound/Outbound student exchanges since 1972
  • All Minor Sports, 2014 Tennis Courts
  • Annual “Seminar for Tomorrow’s Leaders”
  • St. Marys Mobility Bus
  • Water safety program for Grade 2 students
  • Shelterlink which provides food and shelter to youth at risk in Stratford and Perth area as well as support and advocacy to help youth make positive lifestyle choices.
  • Annual Veterans Dinner
  • And many other activities which benefit our community
